About Us
I was born and grew up in Russia. Strangely enough, I was always passionate about numbers, but math, by itself, felt quite boring to me. So, I chose economics as my college major. Economics taught me to look at the real world through the prism of numbers and facts.
After getting my master’s degree in economics, I moved to the United States to explore other opportunities. It was not a question for me whether or not I should get a CPA license here, it was just a matter of time.
I was working for a CPA firm for a number of years while studying and getting myself prepared to sit for the exam. While studying for the exam, I was already thinking about starting my own business. Being my own boss was always a goal for me.
Back then, my husband has been successfully running his own law practice and was encouraging me to open my own practice too. After I got my CPA license, I left my full-time job and focused on building my own practice.
I’m really enjoying running my own CPA firm. It allows me to manage a healthy work-life balance and spend more time with my family. It also gives me a unique opportunity to meet new people and to help them to resolve their accounting issues and tax related challenges.
